There is only one home for all us Deviants – Earth. Let us do something to protect it. Our governments have chosen to ignore the problems and look the other way.

We decided to look the problem in the eye and plant a tree. There are no rewards, no certificates, no kudos to be given out if you plant a tree. Just our respect and a million hugs from tree lovers on Deviantart. So, come and join us in this movement. Plant a tree. Save your home. Save our home.

We request everyone to support this movement in one of the possible ways:
  1. plant a tree
  2. plant many trees
  3. sent us a photo of you and the planted tree
  4. post the “DevianTree” stamp in your journal (subscriber-feature)
  5. tell people about this movement by linking to our journals or by writing about it. you may also link to the news item -> DevianTree Movement
  6. hug the ones who plant trees


we will publish every photo in which you are planting a tree in the devianTree Movement journal. help us to get a huge gallery of tree friends.

We will also maintain a list of all supporters of this movement. To be included in this list, all you have to do is note us when you have put up a journal about devianTree or posted the devianTree stamp.

It's a wonderful idea! Too bad that if I planted a tree, it wouldn't live anyway. I once got a bunch of trees from the government, planted them all, and they all died. :( But this is certainly one of the best ways I know of to support the earth.

Is it OK if I planted a cactus instead? ;)

hi!
i support your group 100%! and i think its great that this group exists :) i think you guys are doing a great job here.
